  Excellent southern-style dishes complemented with an attentive waiting staff.
  
  Placed on a stretch of route 17, this place is actually located in a residential neighborhood. Plenty of on-site parking, and plenty of space in the building. This includes the dining area, the bar that is in a separate room, and the cigar area patio. Lighting was dim with a lantern at each table. There is also a beautiful outdoor seating area in the garden behind the building.
  
  The hostesses and wait staff were very helpful in answering any questions that I had about the menu. We had the "Southern Taste of Goodness" appetizer which was delicious, I loved the pimento cheese. The pickled fruit was interesting, I enjoyed that too though.
  
  For dinner I had the pan roasted chicken with succotash, also delicious and flavourful. There was room left over for dessert and ordered something I didn't see on the menu. I don't remember the name but I would describe it best as a multi-fruit shortcake; this was also very delicious. I included a picture of that as well as the dinner.
  
  I recommend this restaurant to any adult (not much here for kids) for any occasion calling for quality dining.

  Love this place. Great ambiance, great food, and great service. Enjoyed their "taste of southern goodness" sampler w/ pimento cheese, local beer, and shrimp & grits.
